JUNE NEWSLETTER

Just returned from the Vicksburg (MI) Old Car Festival with plenty of cars tractors, steam engines and Irv Gordon!! He is still going and now has 2.7 million!! A good time!

Remember this weekend is the gathering at the Motor Muster at Greenfield Village. It is too late to enter but several members are entered and you could show your them support by attending. It is a very good show and is organized not by make/country etc., but by year of manufacture. Of course the village has wonderful things to see and do and the Henry Ford Museum next door is one of my favorites.

We are considering a couple of activities for later this summer on the western side of the state. One is a gathering on Wednesday night at the Bay Pointe Inn in their outdoor pavilion (lakeside) and another is gathering at the Gilmore Car Museum for one of their Wednesday night Cruises. More on dates and times for these events later.

Lastly, it looks like we now have the dates set for Volvos at the Gilmore III. Mark your calendars for August 14 and 15 2010. We will all have a blast, I promise!
